Web host manager reviews registry cleaners. With the amount of data downloaded and installed from the Internet, PC’s get loaded with destructive data, duplicate files, junk, bad cookies, now more than ever. What happens is that your PC has poor performance, operating system crashes, blue screens and slow Internet connections. But I’ve found some great software downloads you can use to correct these problems.

As a Web Hosting manager, I’ve reviewed dozens of the top registry cleaners and selected the ones we found to be the best to get a PC running faster and more stable. Our biggest considerations were finding things that were easy to install, were easy to understand, and worked well for our hosting customers. Here are many PC Errors that the top Registry Cleaners should fix:

  • Runtime Error - this is an error that happens while a program is running
  • DLL Error - corrupt or missing .dll files, often after installing or removing a program
  • ActiveX Error - a general browser error where settings are misconfigured
  • .exe Error - these happen when you have stray files in the Windows registry on start up
  • System32 Error - when missing or corrupt system files are called

Here are my recommendations:
More information about Registry FixThis happens to be the easiest to use and the most thorough registry cleaner I’ve found in all my tests. My web hosting customers are very happy with Registry Fix. This is our top pick because of the straight-forward interface and deep-scanning. Plus our test PC’s ran much faster after using Registry Fix.
Current Ranking 9.9/10 Top Performer *****

Other problems that Registry Cleaners should handle:

  • Access Violation - when an application tries to store data and permission are wrong
  • General Protection Fault - when programs violate hardware rules
  • Windows Explorer Error - registry problem that causes Windows Explorer to hang
  • Windows Installer Error - incorrect 3rd party “shell extensions” that crash the PC
  • iExplore or iExplorer Error - related to Internet Explorer browser cause it to crash
  • Blue Screen of Death - when Windows can’t recover at all

Here’s what we’ve found - The first thing you need to do to fix PC errors and get your computer operating at top speed is to use a Registry Cleaner. My quick pick is, as mentioned, Registry Fix. And I’ve found a lot of praise for it and it does what it says making it my best overall choice. But another great software is Reg Cure, simply effective and simple and people say it did the trick. Take a look.

More information on Reg CureWhat I like best about RegCure is that is has such a nice feel to it. A lot of time went into the programming and again, another registry cleaner we’ve found that is easy and our customers simply love. The main reason is the “one-click” operation. It is designed for non-techies but packs a punch. RegCure is the registry cleaner for you.

More information about Error NukerI was pleasantly surprised by Error Nuker. This one is not large, and I thought it wouldn’t be as thorough, but it does the job of cleaning errors well. We found Error Nuker pretty easy to use, and it’s fast, but it did not catch as many errors as others in this class on the PC’s we tested it on. In fact, on the second run, it found a few more errors. Still, it ranks a good third in our reviews.

More information about PC OnPointOne of our customers told us to check out PC On Point, which frankly, we’d never heard of. Turns out this is a nice piece of software that actually covers the bases. It’s gaining in popularity and although I can’t rank it up there with the other registry cleaners, it did do a good job in our tests. It’s worth checking out, and the website is easy to navigate. Take it for a test drive. Easy to use.

More info about Error DoctorTalk about slick; Error Doctor has a beautiful interface and does a decent job of scanning and repairing. A few people had some issues with it, but when we ran it, Error Doctor “did” find a lot of errors. Most of them were not critical, like Windows shortcuts. But that is not to say it won’t help. The interface was fairly easy to understand and operate.
Current Ranking 8.7/10 Visit Error Doctor

And finally, I feel it’s important to do a good Spyware scan of your system once you get your registry cleaned. To do this, we recommend to our customers this free, top-rated scanner:

Free download of Xoft Spy SEThe XoftSpySE Scan is known as one of the best in the business because it deep scans every area where spyware infiltrates - over 44,000 threats assessed. I thought it was very cool to see it scan even my temporary Internet file directory and find potential spyware problems. And if you don’t run it much, it uninstalls with one click. Recommended.
